Well my friend has this spiffy little air tool for cleaning spark plugs which is basically a little sack of sand that has a fitting for a plug and an air fitting. Hook up a compressor and touch a little button and the plug gets sand blasted. Also closed the gap to .28 and the car runs strong and smooth, changing the oil tomorrow it's got 106 miles on it and I want to get the break in rotella t out and put some 10w 30 for the "first real 5000 mile oil change".

Glad things are still going well. I'll be watching for your impressions after break in.

I think my maf sensor was damaged from oil getting on it and it sitting there for 2 months. I keep getting a p0172 and p0101, Ive already tried cleaning it and it still comes on and idles like ____. For ____s and giggles I even tried checking for vacuum leaks and found nothing

Yep that was the plan, I was worried I might have been a vacuum leak being that I took the intake manifold off for the build. Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't that before I went out and bought a maf and found out it was a vacuum leak.

Yep it's faster! It mostly picked up on top end but I'm still being easy on it cs I still need to replace the maf sensor. As a result of the maf being jacked my gas mileage sucks, it also doesn't help that I'm running 440s lol.

FWIW the Denso 197-6110 is identical to the Toyota part but costs a lot less. I recently replaced mine for less than half what the dealer wanted. Cost me about $100 shipped and works perfectly. No more P0101 codes.

Just replaced the maf and everything is running great just trying to get the money up for the dyno runs. I recently raced my friend with his Rsx type s and he started to barely and I mean barely walk me in 4th gear. That's much better than before, he would start walking me in 3rd gear and by 4th I would be at his rear bumper. Next is to hook up my split second enricher to see if I can get a few more ponies.

Def worth it if you don't mind tearing down the motor for no reason. I figured I would do it cs I needed to tear it down anyways and decided to throw them in. Gas mileage is decent considering I'm running 440cc injectors, basically it's fine unless I'm mashing on it lol. If I could afford the stand alone I would continue with cams, intake, rx8 throttle body but not worth all the money in those parts if you can't see the gains out of them. I want to race my friend with the Dodge Avenger again and see if I can keep up at all with no boost.

Well with you saying you were the same with a rsx-s, means your 200 at the crank probably 170 whp..Do you feel like you lost torque though?
