ABS Delete/Relocate How To:
There are limited threads about the ABS delete/removal/TUCK/RELOCATE.
I REALLLYYYYYY want to get this OUT of the engine bay no matter if it retains the ABS or deletes it.
Can the ABS be deleted while keeping the OEM brake booster?
I have heard of flexable brake lines to relocate the ABS.
What is the cheapest/easiest way to do this?
Picture are VERY helpful
PLEASEEEE HELPPP!!!

NO flexable brakes lines to replace and relocate hard lines is a no no and not the best way to do it.
if you plan on doing something that large you will one need to find a good 40/40 proportion valve to possibly replace your current one.
if you plan on relocating then you will need to create new hardlines... the proper way is to have as least amount of steel braided and soft lines as possible. soft lines contribute to the sponge effect.
ABS delete is technically a downgrade... just because its cool because its not there doesnt make the car brake or perform any better...
its there to assist you for a reason.
if tucking is you last option then see above and consider a breake booster delete... similar to this

It would be purley for the tuck...its the only thing still lingering in the engine bay....I had read NUMEROUS forums about hand bendable brake lines that you could get at Napa....called today and they have them.....then you flare the ends just as normal.....Im so confused

Anyyy ways....I have decided to keep the ABS but relocate it into the cabin under the dash where the heating/AC components used to be. I will have updated pictures posted on my build thread.

You can delete it by using the factory proportioning valve and union tee from a non ABS Matrix or a Vibe. Just get a print out of the braking system from your local dealer. There is a proportioning valve and a union tee located on the firewall that you will need.

Thanks Jeremy - I have decided to keep the ABS purely because I guess the speedo is connected thru the ABS and I dont want to mess with that. I am simply relocating it under the dash where my heating and a/c components USED to be and re routing the line.
