Nothing official yet, but everything is looking good. The SS is supposed to start at $30,995, which is amazing. It is a heavy car, but I won't care when I have that much power, RWD, and an exhaust note that's going to make a babies head explode.

It's quieter at the end because of NPP, which is the Vette's exhaust thingy. When it's closed, it creates a restriction, to keep it quieter and improve MPG.

I hear ya on the exhaust note and rwd lol. I had a 240sx a couple years ago with the sr20 swap, and there is nothing like taking an off ramp or cruisin through a culdisac sideways with the engine screaming! Orders for the camaro start in october, so let me know how it all goes!

October as in 2008 . They go on sale this spring. I don't plan on getting a 2010 model, I'm waiting a year for them to fix all the first year problems, plus I still owe too much on my tC . Spring of 2010/Fall of 2010 is when I'll be looking to pick one up. Insurance will be cheaper by then and the tC will be nearly paid off (enough that I can use the trade-in as a down payment). I can't wait though, it's such a bad ___ car. I was anti-Camaro 1-2 years ago, but the new one really grew on me.

Not only is it a ton of work for a little gain, also a ton of money, but your just going to get bored with it and want more...
Should just boost or stay Bolt ons, because it would be ashame to drop a big motor build for N/A then just get bored with the power in a short time and want more which all roads lead to boost haha

if you do take the NA built route, you can use the emanage ultimate to raise your redline!
you would basically be taking the tc motor and going against its nature, taking a torquey low reving motor, to a torqueless high compression high reving motor
dont do it, stick to bolt ons!!

Just do it lol. I still love my turbo, I get all giddy every time I spool up and let the BOV sneeze into someones window. It's just that there is nothing like a big beefy V8. LS3, LS9, and LSX FTW!

bryant look man i feel ya pain with these turbos, ive had two turbos on my tc already, but trust me its nothing bad, if your looking for any power going all motor its going to take you like 10-20k to get an all motor car that will beat even just a rsx-s our motors just dont have the all motor potential with just bolt ons

LOL. Really didnt expect this thread to go this far! The only thing im lookin for is a little more go, and a car that I can wrench on. In the past, all my turbo experiences have led to blown motors, shady people workin with me, too much money and WAY too much headache. Don't get me wrong, the feel of a turbo kickin in and throwin your head back in the seat is awesome. Im just more of a simple guy, and buildin an all motor is just more my style. To each their own! I love all the tC's on here for their originality and uniqueness, so to everyone out there, DO WHAT YA LIKE!! Thanks again for all the good info, and keep the good times rollin!

You can find slightly used, but essentially new, C6 base corvettes for sub-$40k. Considering that stock for stock they run with C5 Z06's, that's a HELL of a lot of car.
Texas Direct Auto had an Evo X , 2008 w/ sub 10k miles... for $27k. Might have to consider that route, since I always wanted AWD.

I actually almost traded in my tC for an R32 last weekend. There was an 08 for under 24k with 17k miles on it that I absolutely loved. There really is no feeling like a good ole 4 wheel drift at 65 miles an hour lol. Plus who doesnt love plaid interior?! I mean come on...
