mines never did come on. what happened to mines is that i stripped the 02 sensor taking it off from the stock header. so what i did was i screwed it back on about 1/4 of the thread, and welded it on top just to hold it steady (didnt weld it all the way around the sensor) OR i could've also used wire to hold it.

So be careful taking off the 02 sensor.

This DIY has a complete walkthrough on how to properly install the header and use Spark Plug Anti-Foulers to keep your CEL form coming on.

Why doesn't somebody make a header with a High-flow cat, that would solve the problem of the CEL and I am sure it would make more power than stock???

Megan did that but the CEL didnt go away and the cat broke apart causing other problems. Also, the cat will make the header cost a lot more and not produce as much power. Dont get too worked up over the CEL. There are quite a few options to eliminate it and the majority of anti-fouler users have no issues at all.

Except me...
Be very careful taking that 02 sensor off the header. I was very, very careful and I think I busted my sensor. So off to Toyota I go!!! $200 later.

I do have a Monster Motor Works CEL adaptor for sale in the classifieds if you want it. I ended up buying another adaptor and don't feel like throwing that one back on

OK, to solve this problem easily, rather than buying some O2 sensor simulator, go to AutoZone and get a pack of spark plug anti foulers. They should be around 18 mm threads and come 2 in a pack for 3-4$. Get a titanium drill bit and drill one of the antifoulers out to 1/2 in. Once you do that, thread the one that you didn't touch into the S-pipe, thread the one that you tapped out into that one, and then your O2 sensor into that. That will simulate the restricted exhaust flow that a cat would do an no CEL light. Believe me, it works. I did it and havn't had a problem for 8000 miles. Let me know if you need more help and I can get some pics of mine or something.

Is anyone having problems with second o2 sensor, like after installing the simulator? Cause on mines the sensor hits this thing, I'm not sure what it is but it makes a rattling sound. I might take a pic of it 2morrow so you can see it.
