Why don't you guys leave the guy alone, he tried to make a thread about an ARC box and most have done nothing but criticize him for it. You can form your opinions, if you don't like it then don't get it. I personally think its a waste of money performance wise but it does look neat but thats my personal assessment and I will not impose it on anyone. If he likes it let him be.

I was readying this thread cause i was doing some research on this intake....especially being that i want to go TRD SC...I've heard many times already that this is the only asfter market intake that will actually work with the trd sc. Does any one know of gain #'s? I also heard it wont throw a cell or cause any issues at all w/the trd sc simply because it is just a box upgrade.

I have to agree it is neat looking. If it can produce good numbers regardless of sucking in engine bay air then fudge it obviously cold air is better...but Im all about making the trd sc put out and push it to the max.

also does anyone know where is the cheapest place to get it? So far the cheapest ive seen is about $415 for it...$400 is nutts for an air box but if it can live up to the price tag and work w/the TRD SC then i guess i may jump on the wagoin and get me one especially since i can use it now pre trd sc....

thanks guys for the time maybe i can get a few of the /'s answered....

it will not fit correctly with the super charger.. i tried. You can drive it with it in there but it doesn't quite fit right. And for the love of god people......if you are running a short ram intake, you will suck the SAME amount of hot air as this box, Just for 170 bucks more =). The ARC box is much bigger than the stock air box. It has one 8"x51/2" and the bottom filter is 10"x 51/2".

the whole ARC Debate...ugh...a filter is a filter in some sense...all it is..>I saw it on ....one of the mags tC...looks nice, but a K&n Filter will work JUST as well, and CHEAPER!

for maybe 1-2hp gain...if that...

its not that hard to mod ur aftermarket intake to fit the supercharger. most muffler shops have no problem cutting the intake pipe for u for a minimal charge then jus make a quick mount and ur good to go. i already have an idea of how to mount my intake to the s/c when i get it.
