Finally! What so many n00bs have been waiting for! And all in one post!

THE PARTS LIST FOR AN AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION SWAP

The prices that are listed are for the parts brand new, and i have not included labor prices. I couldn't find the price for everything, but I'm sure you can clearly see that
if you are buying these parts new, you should have considered trading your car in for a manual in the first place. But anyways, feel free to comment.

Manual Transaxle - $1,852.95

Axle assy Left - $343.75 Right - $399.66
Mount, tC, Front, Manual trans - $64.31

Yeah my tranny swap is complete except for putting interior back together. I got away alot cheaper going through a junk yard though.

yeah not to mention the automatic cost more money at the dealer. then you just ripped it out and replaced it with a cheaper one. LOL. props to you though for paving the way. Many more will follow probably although it doesnt really make that much sense

OK YEAH I DONT RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO DOESNT HAVE ALOT OF EXTRA MONEY TO BLOW. THIS PROJECT HAS TAKEN A MONTH NOW AND SOME MONEY. HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING THE CAR STARTED RIGHT NOW

Actually, at least those are more... worth the money and time and effort than converting an auto to stick, imvho

there are also some different parts on the engine if you notice the starters arent the same, and im sure theres more but if you could post pics i would luv to do this mod also, i found most of all those parts way cheaper through,
tranny $800
ecm $200
axles Pair $400
upgraded clutch $250
perrin short throw $179
unorthodox lightweight l flywheel $450
(gauge cluster is not a big deal), just make sure your tps/cel work

Those cost are for new part's

You have to trick the immoblizer if use a manual ECU, I have the trick saved, its suppose to be exclusive to toyota.

I used the same starter.

well true, you would probably pay the same as the swap (due to lost value ,etc.)

i have a rs1.0 red tc and its an auto, there were nomore red manuals left when i wanted one so i got it anyway and i would be upside down by alot if i traded, but i need some kind of pictures and instructions to do this mod so if you could help that would be great, my auto is slippin baaaddddddd!!!!!
