Default auto scion tc owners

ok so heres the deal i start workin in 30 mins and i dindt get a chance to look thru the threats for auto tc owners. im new to the site and so far i like it. MY scion tc is close to hitting 65000 and i want to start tuning but its an automatic. i really dont want to get rid of it just to get stick shift and well im not really done paying. i have no warranty so what i do to the car wont void anything. SOO to get to the point im thinking of tuning it but dont know which route to go, turbo? super charged? i know the turbo brings some good power but then again i have auto. and the super charger is also made by scion specifically also for auto. what should i do and what would be the best route to go? i dont want to damage the motor but also should i go all motor? tell me what you think and please try to help out rather than low ball me about getting a stick shift. let me know what youve done to your tc any pics comments anything would help. thanks guys

I think, and not to be rude, you should wait until you get off work and do some searching on the forum. All of your questions and concerns have been addressed in depth already.

+1 go on the For Sale threads and find a nice cheap used turbo kit and run 4-6 psi and your all set! You can get anywhere from 200-230 hp with that. I wouldn't run more that 250 hp unless you plan on building up your tranny.

tranny cooler and boost it...i boosted my tc for 5k no tranny cooler on 7 psi and never had any problems til i went to the track one nite and did about 15-20 runs no more than 5-10 minutes apart and it got the tranny a lil hot that nite. Then i sold it to get a second car. I was gonna put a turbo back on at 4-6psi w/ tranny cooler but havn't got around to it but got some parts so hit me up if you looking for some parts.

Full guide on building an automatic transmission.

Stock automatic transmission will hold about 250 whp. Unless you plan on boosting, you won't even need to worry about this. Unless you're also auto sticking your car. In which case.... you should probably stop doing that.

I believe KRDshark said his automatic transmission died around 240 whp not really 100% positive on this one.
