Default B&M Short Throw Shifter, what's up with this?

http://www.2kracing.com/product_info...oducts_id/5491

I did a forum search and found NOTHING on this company. It supposedly shortens the throw by "up to" 40% rather than the TWM's 25%-35% (depending on which model you get).

Anybody have any experience with this shifter?

edit: When I said I found nothing on this company, I meant I've never seen anything tC related.

I have a B&M shifter on my tc. It is very nice the throw is much shorter and well worth the money. The bad thing is that it is a pain in the a$$ to install.

haha, I believe that. The funny thing is that every review I've read has said "Super Easy installation!".

Thanks for the reply.

The picture of is of a Acura Integra short shifter. The B & M is probably going to shorten the through about the same amount TWM's and CC. I personally like the CC shifter except that it bends back toward you like the stock shifter.

The B&M will keep the **** at the stock height. It comes with risers to raise the shifter base so the **** is raised back up. If you dont install the risers, it will sit about 1/2 inch lower than stock which doesnt seem like much but it makes a difference. I just took my riser out and like it even more. Its a great shifter and give the tranny a nice solid feel.

The B&M was the first short shifter I ever heard of for the TC. You can get it from Nopi.com

I should still have them in stock as well, I got it for 119 plus shipping so yeah about 125 total. B&M has been around for a long time, they are a very respected company in our industry. We sell dozens of their shifters, very popular lately among 350z owners.

An update for anyone that cares: I installed the shifter this morning and it is GREAT! The car shifts unbelievably smooth, it's like night and day from the stock shifter. Plus, it still sits almost exactly where the stock shifter sat. Great product, ZERO COMPLAINTS!

Is there another short shifter out there that shortens the height besides TWN?

i drove a friends tC with this shifter and I didnt even know the shifter was in there. i would have to disagree as the actual height of the stick (i think the joint is lower but the overall height is the same) is the same. i felt no difference.

You probly didn't find a link cause all the other post started where about other shifters. I have posted in most that I love my B&M shifter and have had it installed since March. Yes you can feell the diffrence. For any one that wants to see the diffrence in pivot point and lenght compared to stock heres a pick, which I posted before.

The install was very easy as I just followed the write up some one had done. Maybe an hour at tops if I remember right. You can probly leave out the bushing and install it even lower too.
