Default Best Exhaust/Intake...

I've been looking around places.
Next step i'm heading to grab the exhaust and CAI for the tC.
Haven't seen too many options but i'm either thinking TRD or Injen.

I don't want something to make it sound like im burning rice.
I don't want something that's gonna empty my pockets either.

Just looking for a nice exhaust/intake to throw in to give the tC some kick and a nice sound as well.

Any suggestions?Thanks.

well... there's not much choices in your poll... are you just deciding between the two?

for intakes there's the injen that i have and recommend, fujita, weapon r* SRI, and K&N.. (NO TRD)

exhaust: greddy, injen, TRD, HKS, magnaflow, Precisionmuffler's magnaflow, and a few more....

PrecisionMuffler is a good exhaust and gives a good sound, as well as being pretty quiet and easy on your wallet.

and also... waiting less than an hour before bumping your own topic shows real patience...

well from what ive heard about CAI's injen seems to be the people's favorite.not sure if it's the best ubt everyone seems to have one.

the exhaust ive heard magnaflow which is pretty loud in my opinion.is there any site to kind of "hear" what they would sound like.

just dont wanna go out and buy something and turn my car into a rice burner

are you thinking about the magnaflow catback? cause Precisionmuffler's is something different.... most other exhausts are louder in my opinion.

I have the Injen CAI, and the Draxas exhaust is on the way. I love the Injen CAI, it has proven better gains than any of the other intakes for the tC. Check out the dyno charts here https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ht=intake+test . The sound of the Injen is really deep, you will be very satisfied.

The Draxas exhaust is expensive, but you have to keep in mind it includes S-pipe, Mid-pipe with a high-flow cat and resonator, and the rear section... All stainless steel. They are running a special until the end of January where if you mention your ScionLife username in your order, they knock $75 off your order. Brings the total to $650 shipped. Not bad for everything that is included. I should have the exhaust by Tuesday, so I will let you know how the Injen CAI/Draxas Exhaust combo sounds.

Intake/Exhaust should not void your warranty, but there is always a slight chance that something could go wrong. The dealer has to prove that the Intake or Exhaust caused whatever problem you are having. Most people are running with these things and are having zero problems.

I'll probably go with the Injen CAI then

As for the exhaust.not sure.i just spent around 4800 this past week so yeah.lol

will either of those void any warranties on like a 2-3 month old tc?

I got my Injen CAI from HouseofScion.com. They had a special going on for $209 shipped. But now the price has gone up to $235. The best price I can find right now is $235. www.promotiontuning.com has it for $235. I ordered a short shifter from them on January 25th and I had it at my door on January 27th. Very good company to work with. www.houseofscion.com took a while with my order and did some weird stuff with my tracking number so I would go with promotiontuning.com if I were you.

injen cai, and if you had to choose between trd and injen exhaust, i'd take the trd. injen exhaust is a bit too loud for my taste

well i'm going with the injen CAI.pretty cheap, i've heard it and i like the sound, and its a good name so thats a definate.

exhaust...still not sure,i 'd like to hear some from websites or something on the tc but idk.tough decision.something quiet but that gives the tc enough agressiveness to say wow.what do you have under that hood

any ideas?lol

Injen has the best gains for CAI! This has been proven by a few companies taking everyones intake one afternoon and doing dyno's on each one.

Alphawerks has the best header gain!

As far as exhaust not sure. I am using ZPI S-pipe, ZPI Midpipe with Magnaflow 12646 res and 43036 cat, and a Injen SES Exhaust to top it off It sounds nice!
