I got the creative compacts one.

No problems from the pipe. The O2 sensor itself has very delicate tread, and has fallen out before. Be sure to seal both ends and the O2 sensor in with RTV silicone (<$5 at autozone, the red stuff) and you should never have a problem'

In addition, all spipes have the potential to cause a slightly rougher idle. This is due to a change in how exhaust flow goes over the O2 sensor. I've had it on occaision, but it's not that bad.

Default dummy question....

dummy question here:

Will aftermarket S-pipe fit onto OEM exhaust? Will this make any notable difference than current stock setup?

how does this s-pipe compare to the zpi s-pipe and others. do you (invidia) make the mid pipe like zpi?? cuz that would be very nice. and if you do you will it work with my hks hi-power exhaust??? Pray

somethings wrong. the secondary o2 sensor has no input at all on engine control functions. all it is is an emmisions sniffer and tells the ecu if the cat works.

i love the invidia s-pipe, i swear it gave me so much help in power, and sounds so much nicer with my exhaust, kinda sounds like a supercharger

your gonna have trouble getting rid of rasp with that setup. any exhaust that makes noise by itself is magnified by a header due to increased exhaust gas flow. when the exhaust system can no longer slow down the exhaust flow enuf to quiet it down a bit the fast moving gases vibrate too much and you get what everyone calls rasp. the HKS is a loud exhaust by itself. with a header it will sound like trash. you might want to add a Hi-flow cat and resonator to it to get it sumwhere close to ok to deal with. but then i dont really dig the HKS' tone

i have a magnaflow cat-back with a magnaflow resonator welded on and its pretty quiet. in fact it was quiet as or more quiet than stock. when i put the header on it opened back up and there is a smmmaaaaaaall amount of rasp at about 2900-3100 rpms. still doesnt sound as good as my old TRD did but oh well, im going for performance now.

From my experience, the Invidia S-Pipe is great. The fitment was spot on. Took under an hour to remove OEM S-Pipe and the Invidia one installed in like 15 minutes. Just be careful removing and then re-installing the O2 sensor. It's a bit sticky. I bought through wesellcarparts. Got a great deal and they may still have an ad in the sponsered sales link for the same deal. It is a little rougher idling on a cold morning, but all in all I'm very pleased. Butt dyno can't tell a tremendous difference, but I'm sure it helped considering how funky the stocker is.
