Yeah, the HKS was my first choice. But it was mostly because of the JDM lean on it. I couldn't find any real reliable sound bytes of the the HKS. Then I heard Taek's from the video clip he made, and we (g/f and I) decided that it wasn't pleasing and sound was missing something. Then we listened to the vid from the "Different TC exhaust" thread, and also the vid from the one Joe@Dezod made, and decided that the Blitz was the way to go. And let me tell you, in person this bad boy sounds so mean. I passed by a little hatch back civic, and it had an exhaust on it, as the guy went down the road pass me, it sounded like 1k little bee's buzzing by. Then I think about my exhaust note, and a smile goes over my face. It sounds nothing like a little ricer Civic by any means. The Blitz exhaust makes your car sound like you are pushing like 500+ Hp under the hood.
By the way, the only supporting mod I have is an Injen Intake. Next Power mod on my list is ZPI Stage 1 turbo. Then I'm going to redo the piping and let ZPI make me a turbo back pipe with the Blitz at the end....Glorious.

Actually, I had anticipated that this was going to be UNGODLY! loud. The guy that was doing my piping gave me the option to keep the res or not. As he offered, he said without it, it's going to be quite loud. At first I was afraid, and told him to leave the res on. Then he came back to where I was waiting after about 20 min in the shop, and I asked how much piping distance was it from the res to the cat-back, and he mentioned that the res was rather large in size. And I felt that to truly say I have a cutom "Cat-Back", it meant that the pipe need to mate all the way to the cat with nothing between. So, I sad screw it, lets go all out, and take off the res too. So, he said ok. And as he was finishing up the final touches, I probably would have counted at least 15 times he said, "It's going to be loud". So, as you know this made me (more importantly my g/f seeing as how she is the daily driver) nervous that it was going to be too obnoxious to drive. Then he started it up, and it was music to our ears. And infact, because my assumptions were SO high that it was going to be TOO loud, that when I heard it for the first time, it's actually quieter than what I had anticipated. So, to make a long story short, no res is going back on this car until I get too old to bear the rumble.
PS..TN cops will pull you over for having your Bass to loud in your car, but really don't care about exhaust. Plus, I live in a somewhat small city (Murfreesboro), and for every one regular car here, there is about 5 ricer's and 3 crotchrocket motorcycles.

Some like the JDM lean, some don't. More importantly, besides the asthetic look of it, with the JDM lean, it allows the piping to have LESS bends, therefore better exhaust flow. However, because this was a custom job, it had to be done by eye, and while it was hoisted up on the lift. But after getting it down and then comparing the angle with others like the HKS, I'm going back to the shop tomorrow, because I have to much angle going on. It's pointing more 10:00ish. The HKS exhaust is more 11:00ish. So, I'm going back and having the angle taken out a little, so it looks more 11:00ish than looking like it's going straight out the side.
