Thanks for the kind words but, my car will not sound like that much longer... Next week is Turbo Tuesday and I'm getting full S-Pipe/Mid Pipe to mate up to my Borla so I'm assuming it will be totally different considering I'm losing cats and resonator. I hope it still sounds good, but even if it doesn't... I'll be fast as...

There are 2 different borla exhausts. There is the cat-back (the one i see most often): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Borla...spagenameZWDVW

and the axle-back that i've only seen at trdsparks: http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...2&parts_id=644

From the Cardomain of this car it looks like the axle-back. What sound/perfomance difference between the two is there?

There are no Borla Cat Back systems. I accidentally wrote Cat back on my profile and within an hour, I received a message from someone that works for Borla asking where I got it because they didn't make one. The picture on ebay, looks exactly like the TRD axel back exhaust on my girlfriends car, which is made by Borla but says TRD on the tip.

goto www.borla.com ,search partnumber: 11743, BOrla's Cat-Back, note, Borla's cat-back is an Axle Back.... There only one or two companys making true catbacks, Magnaflow is one of them... On a TC you dont need a full cat-back, do to good flow as is, if you looked at your midpipe you see that the pipe is mandrel bent, which means no need for a new mid pipe.... also the magnaflow catback wants you to cut 3.5 inches off the stock mid pipe to replace it with a new one, which is a waste of time and money...

Hey Dyltone you need to post up a sound clip to your new set up once you get that done I'd like to hear it. I was thinking of going with the blitz exhaust but when I heard rythmnsmokes sound clip it sounded a little too ricey for my taste and the Borla is sounding about the sound I want. Thank man I appreciate it..

No disrespect to you rhythmnsmoke if your reading I wanted that set up to begin with but was skeptical from the begging as well

I'm bringing my video camera and 2 gb of memory cards to fill up to document the install, dynos, and some nice driving vids. I'll just have to find someone that is willing to host all those pics and vids because the videos are quite large. If anyone knows how to convert the videos that are posted up at the top of this thread (that's the native file my camera outputs) I'd be happy to make them divx or xvids but I have not found a way to convert them because I don't think they are real .MOV's, I think they are Motion JPEG's.

Da_Mac-
there here is a different video of the blitz exhaust with at resonator. Rhythmnsmoke's setup didnt have a resonator so thats why it has a ricey sound to it at times.

Ohh really he didnt have a res ok thanks for clearing that up Acs because I had heard it once b4 and it didnt sound as ricey and was kinda nice even. Well that makes sense but to be honest I listened to the vid again and the next morning when the car was started and took off it didnt sound like it did when it was first ran. So I guess with time it will quiet down some.. Thanks again.
