well I have a greddy evo 2 exhaust and I'm not very happy with it. I was wondering if anyone has any pros or cons or comments about these 2 axhaust systems that I'm thinking of getting and if you could put an imput on what headers to use that will be greatly appreciated. and I forgot to mention my TC is an 07' model so if thats a problem with the headers pleast tell me thanks

Maybe because some people don't like the slanted tip look? And it's not like the Borla sounds bad... I had one and it sounded great.

HKS Hi-Power!!! i just got mine last friday and it sounds awesome! definitely the best one i've heard so far

 

I had an Injen SES exhaust and just recently swapped over to an HKS hi-power and love the HKS more! Big fart can, yes, a drag, but sounds nice!

 

I love the slanted tip look its just that the borla sound freakin mean but now that I think of it I realize its not the sound that a TC should make...so anyone know wheres a good deal for a Hi-Power?

 

i think when it comes time for exhaust Borla will be my choice. i don't want a big can hanging out the back, and the borla sounds mean.

 

I love my borla, but ive never heard the hks kit so i dont have a comparison.

I'm really curious. Why is the evo2 so bad? From what I've found about it, I like it. Does it sound bad? This is the exhaust I plan to get I just want to know the objections about it so I can determine whether or not I would really like to buy it.

I got a Borla Muffler and complete custom exhaust all the way from the header. Sounds beautiful and NOT a lot of LOUD sound. I would say NO rasp at all, at least nothing that I can hear of, and I have gutted back seat and trunk. Borla would be my choice.

 

well its not that its just that it dissapoints me..its not exactly what i expected for the price, you know what I mean? like you pay 100 bucks more for a really overrated item and then you figure out its just like any other one its like wow this sucks...my friend is buying my evo 2 from me which is why I'm thinking of just getting a HKS or a borla and now even a tanabe

 

can we get some vids 2 compare bc i might get those 2 or the megan(bc its cheap n nice)

because you'r removing the biggest restriction which is the header.

some people dont like the sound of a "ala riceroni honda can" or "rasp" or "bee's" or "poop"

the only way to tone down the unpleasant sound it to add a sufficient sized resonator.
