yes it the bigger the bore the more displacement you get and that = more power and torque. the best combo is what fit in your budget. every body has their own preference. what i perfer are CP piston and Pauter rods.

Also just thought of something once i get a stand alone and im trying to make 500hp where does everyone set the redline to and do they take it to that point?
My car right now at 330hp my shift point is 5200rpm and stock red line at 6400

Block has less the 50k it's my stock engine no boost at all only saw a intake on exhaust on a auto transmssion. My radiator was leaking sister was driving it told me was over heating drove it started over heating took to shop the head had a small crack pulled the head off left like that. Gave the pistons and rods to a friend in a camery bent his rod idl how lol

Take it for what its worth, but Ive never broken an axle with 500+. However, my car isnt slammed, and I never really launched it hard, mainly all 40-60 rolls, along with a few track passes, but like I said, I never really launched it hard out of the hole.

will if you really want to rev that high. billet main caps, arp main studs and billet crank. but if your goal is only 500 hp this is not necessary. all you need is springs, retainer boost at 25 psi and red line set to 7200.

well me personally am shooting for 600hp +i know i will be able to make it just upgraded my turbo from my 60-1 was @22 psi to a sc6262 .82 ar to reach my goal also my seals blew on my old turbo lol.
im sure the tc will still be mking power @8k but wont know until i get to that point another 2-4 months should see a 600 hp dyno
