Default Brackets on the stock header

Do we have to use the stock black brackets that were at the bottom of the stock header or is it ok to not use them.

Been discussed, the stock header bracket prevents cracking of the header, cracks are caused by the floppy engine mounts found on the TC. The bracket secures the header to the engine block, and negates any independent torsional shift of the header. In other words it keeps it stiff and only moves if the engine moves. So the brackets are very important. If you fail to use them it is possible for the welds on the header flange to give and crack especially under heat related fatigue.
