CARB legal header = OEM..... a restrictive POS that causes the burning of more fuel to get the same distance... those damn tree huggers refuse to see that us that run free flowing headers actually do better for the environment than those running CATs.
BTW have been useless since the mid 90s with the new more complex fuel blends.
Only reason CATs were invented in the first place was back when vehicles ran on leaded fuels...to help remove and burn those elements before hitting the atmosphere. It's such an outdated law...but the Fing Greenies refuse to see the facts. DORKS!
Sorry...my rant is now done. but I have stated nothing but fact.

so I've been wondering....

Since tampering with emissions = fail, which means no header is legal, how is Descendant coming out with a carb legal turbo kit?
They're in the process of getting carb certification

You could do what they did in my old town. Take a rod and punch out the CAT. I doubt it would do much,

I am assuming it is legal for them to tell you to pop the hood? Isn't that searching the car? IE you don't have to consent to it.

ya usually if you don't, they are total d***s about it and will have you sit in the back of the cop car while the call in a warrant. Once they get the warrant too, they will look for anything illegal and nail you on it too.

yeah i knew my exhaust was too loud when i got pulled over and didnt want to go through the hassle of telling them they cant pop my hood.

a lot of cops dont know a damn thing about car mods they just see shiny things and no CARB stickers on intake pipes and go to town. i wish they would just leave us harmless modders alone its such a small percentage of cars doing it!

Ifinally realized its not worth it trying to make an NA tC quicker. just go for sound.

they actually cause global warming by releasing more CO2 and N2O (which is 300x worse for global warming than CO2) haha but they do help clean our air of particulate matter and hydrocarbons so we can breathe.

we will be able to breathe clearly when we walk onto our porches and melt. yay.

Actually, They have not proved that CO2 causes it. Just that there is a correlation between CO2 increases and global temperature.

oh dont get me started LMAO.... I do my part to lower my carbon footprint....
the best thing that emissions testing does for everyone is keep the morons that DONT keep their cars in good running condition from being able to register their POS's on the road. Everyone knows what Im talking about.... we've all been behind at one time or another that 1984 POS that takes off from a stop light and bellows out so much smoke you think the damn thing's on fire.
