Honestly it sounds like a fart can to me. Sounds good in the car, but from the outside it sounded bad, maybe the camera mic. If you think its the headers then definitely change it out.

Good luck.

i would not be able ot live with that. I can deal with a nice deep tone but that cracking noise will just ____ me off.

I like its sound. It's very nice on the low end and quickly jumps into a snarl when it's gunned. I imagine that the pick up is pretty good too.

How does it feel compared to how it was originally?

Duuuude, c'mon, tell me how it feels to drive this stuff? Is there enough accel to back up that sound?

To everyone: "rice" would normally mean an attitude adopted by someone. These people care only about perception.

A lot of people now, in the counter rice movement of late (spawned after the initial wave of Honda tuning) are the antithesis of rice. They care about NOT looking/sounding rice. That is also perception. Therefore, ricers and ricer haters are all the same.

Come on, be accepting. Who cares if it sounds rice so long as its got a little bit of speed to back it up. Obviously Taek doesn't care as much about appearing rice. I understand the car is going to be faster than normal and under normal driving conditions what does it matter? It'll annoy the hell outta everyone around the damn car but oh well, what moves YOU doesn't need to or need to not move others.

Ya, I'll trade the extra 1 hp I get from a crappy sounding muffler for the stock one. The power that you gain from an axel back is minimal, and if I couldn't have a nice sounding car, then I'd rather have a quiet stock muffler.

the raspy sound is gone now. parts have been broken into. if i find time, and maybe a little appreciatoin and respect, i'll do another one.

I/H/E stuff all build on one another. That axel back is now pushing out more than 1 hp (perhaps 2? 3 even!) but they all work in conjunction to squeeze more power out. If you don't mind the sound and can afford the exhaust than might as well get it. I don't see why people are so negative sounding about a loud sounding exhaust!
