Things I have checked:

-Battery (charged)
-Alternator
-Starter
-Fuses
-Inspected for loose wires
-Spark Plugs (only a few months old)

I own a 2007 scion tc I'm running the Turbonetics turbo kit, Its been on the car for a bout a year. Have 2 gauges, Wideband and Boost as well as a turbo timer.

It all started a few weeks ago when my car started taking a bit longer than normal to turn over. Soon enough I required a jump to start the vehicle. A few days later even a jump wouldn't start the vehicle. Now all that happens when I turn the key and press the clutch is that the starter clicks for a few seconds.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Starter clicking = not enough voltage getting to the starter. Check the starter wiring and batter. (A battery can appear to be charged voltage wise, but when put under load may fail). Put a dmm on the starter and see what the voltage goes to under load, than start going back through the circuit and see where the voltage drop is. If its at the battery, than its a bad battery.

Agreed check the battery. Same problem on my moms car, changed the battery never had another issue.

With charging a battery, sometimes the battery is so shot that it doesnt really hold the charge from an alternator or a separate charging station.

Thank you all for you input. My buddy studying this mechanical stuff came by today and helped me diagnose the issue. Seems that my negative battery terminal ground wire was corroded. I just went and bought a 4guage ground wire from checkers and now I am good to go.

just to add onto what others have said, it very well may be a battery issue. ive had the same problem where the starter would click and not start.. and ive had people tell me its the starter and whatnot. went to advance auto parts to get a new battery as i needed one anyway, and Bam, no problems starting the engine.

so yea if the batter is fairly new, i'd first check the wiring. if not that then i'd replace it.
