catback/intake???

catback/intake???
i got the HKS catback exhaust done and it sounds AMAZING, it doesn't sound like 4 cyl engine to me...haha the trottle response got ALOT better and more torqier, overall, i say go for the catback not just tips

my next step is to get an intake for my car till i get some serious work done on the engine, over the summer prolli, and i've noticed there are lota puddles in my area, (live in detroit...roads are ____ty). if i get a full intake system which goes infront of the front driverside wheels all the way down to the tip of the bumper, i know it's gonna suck better and colder air but in the rain(and through the puddle) it's gonna suck up all that air into the engine and screw my whole car up (at least that's what i'm concerning)
should i get a short ram kit instead of regular ones?
