Default CEL fix question (not about how to fix it)

Ok I had seen where enginefire(sp? sry if I got that wrong) had said something about moving the O2 sensor bung behind the second cat to get rid of a CEL and it made me think. I got under my car today and looked and it seems to me that couldn't you just turn the s-pipe with the 2nd O2 sensor on it around putting the cat in front of the O2 sensor?
I'm not sure if it will work since I have closely examined everything, but I am putting a strup header and axel back on around christmas and unless anyone knows a reason it wont work I was going to try it. Anybody got any input on this?
