Default CEL light is on

I have an 07 scion tc and my CEL light came on. Can this be from the installation of my Catback exhaust?

Is the catback the only modification on the car?

Make sure you put your gas cap on all the way. My CEL was on because I didn't put the gas cap on right, and it didn't reset. I ended up having to take it to the Scion dealer and have them reset it
