Changing spark plugs
#2
the stock ones are fine, they really are the best in the business. denso iridium spark plugs are number one. there are comparable brands like ngk iridium and so on.
and if your getting a supercharger kit, you don't need new spark plugs because the kit comes with their own.

Yes but when is the right time to change them. Sorry I guess I wasn't so clear in my first post. My car is just about to hit 30,000 miles. It feels like it's chugging gas. And I'm saving up for a new one but it's looking like I may need the spark plugs before I can afford the supercharger.

hmm. I guess I ought to check them out. I mean the car pulls fine but I just feel like something is holding it back. I also feel like I getting worse mpg but Its just feel haven't really done the math. I will do it when I fill it up tomorrow.

The easiest thing to do is to pull out your filter and check it out. Put it up to a light and if you can see light peak through you're still good. Some filters are cleanable.
You dont even need to replace your spark plugs right away. You can take a wire brush and gently clean your spark plugs to get new life out of them. Also, when did you last have an oil change?

Well it could be my filter I just barely changed my oil also so maybe thats what it was. But I didn't know that you could go that long without changing the spark plugs. I will need to check my filter on my intake also.
