Chirp third?!?! is it really possible

I mean.... couldn't you easily chirp most gears by shifting at the rev limiter while slowly letting out the clutch. It's obviously GREAT for your car, but I don't understand why people are amazed that they lose traction when shifting gears at high revs. I mean, if you are going say 15 mph .. and idiotically try shifting into 4th while flooring it at the rev limit, I bet you could get a chirp, and destroy your tranny and eat up your clutch. Awesome!

3rd I believe is possible. I've done it once on a wet road on a cold night. Though I'm not sure if I just let off the clutch too slow. But I don't believe 4th is possible. NO WAY, NO HOW! [/wizard of oz]

Not a great combo for the best acceleration, but kinda fun anyway

sh*t... its more than possible... i dont just chirp in third, when i had just the straight pipe on i was spin'n em in third... it may "still be a tC" but it's got a great amount of torque, and it really just comes down to how you catch the gears, and how long you wanna ride the clutch and rev it up...
