Although it's 14.4, it's still progress. Maybe some more tuning is in order.

Remember, We were in a bracket race, so we were not trying to go ***** out. Yes the car is very capable of 13's with better tires. My friend was driving and just trying to stay consistant, This was the first run he ever did in my car. It turned out to be the best time, because it was so hot out we chose to pick a higher time. A bracket race is determined on how close you are to your dial in time, not how fast your car is over all. I will race my car again soon, I am trying to save money for drag radials, if anyone would like to donate some, or sponser me with tires, I would really like that. I have been true to my word so far, as soon as I race again you will get the numbers. remember also, this is a turboed car running consistant times in almost 100 degree weather, that is almost impossible to do since most turboed cars dont run as well in the dead heat of the day. So it will pull slower times. I am going to try to race it at night so it is alot cooler, and I can get better numbers.

Thanks,
David

I would rather bracket race any day than go ***** out. its more amusing for me. Nice power bands... Also I didn't realize that the tC's were capable of so much torque.. That's nice.

Davids car is a lot faster than the slips represent. You have to look at entire slip to get the idea. I believe he is trapping 98-100 mph all day in the heat. This is about the same as an STi or EVO do and they run low 13's.

The biggest diffence is he is not getting off the line, and rember this is only 6psi he is making a lot of torque real fast thus spinning the stock tires into to bits of little rubber.

a 2.2 60ft is terrible in anything if he could cut a 2.0 he should run a 13.8-13.9

so 13.8 is what the stage 0 are going into going "***** out"?
Or... I just wanted to get a better idea of what the satge 0 were capable of.

Also i didnt know he was on stock tires O_O

a Stage 0 kit makes you very comparable to a evo, sti, 350z etc these cars all run about the same on the street. This is where the stage 0 puts you as far as the todem pole of power goes.

wasn't it the stage 0 that beat the 350Z on that video? or was it a modified kit?

i agree..for all that power ur putting out ur still in mid 14s? it seems really weird..to me it, u should be in mid to low 13s..tires cant mean that much of a difference can they? anywho, great numbers but improve those times..u gotta represent the tCs!!

also, with all that torque being put out would it still be safe for stock trannies? wut bout the auto trannies? please tell me the auto's can still handle them safely...

Tires/traction make a MASSIVE amount of difference, particularly since the stock Potenzas are garbage.

slicks will put a car running low 14s on street tires to run mid 13s.
my friend had a prelude swap in a hatch that ran 14.1 on street,
but with slicks he hit 13.6. so the tires matter big time!! traction
is everything. the only problem with slicks....broken axle.
he broke an axle soon after putting on slicks.

edit: one of my other buddies had a blown tire and only had his
michelin pilots in the trunk. he switched out that one tire so he
was basically running on 3 stock tires n one badass tire.
while he drove, it kept pulling in the direction of the michelin
tire cuz it had such good traction.
