clutch
Not sure where to post but i have a question. I was wondering if a stage 3 clutch would be overkill for a TRD supercharged, Draxas Exhaust well about 245WHP and i would like maybe close to 290hp.
Just wondering if it would be overkill... Also how would driving conditions differ. Is it still good for a cruise around town too. Thanks in advance to all. Have a good day.

You'd have to ask the F/I guys.... but... IMHO... you'd not have fun as a daily driver.... too hardcore for just street use and God-Forbid you get stuck in lots of traffic....

To be honest, the clutchmasters stage four four puck that I have in my car now, really isn't that bad. Its grabby, but its not horrible. I would imagine that the six puck or even the full face clutch would be fine for daily street use. Just my .02 cents

with a stage 3 clutch You'll feel like you're driving a dump truck. VERY HEAVY!!! If you're makin THAT much power then u probably will need to upgrade yur clutch, but are u really gonna be makin that much with just the TRD SC? I don't think the stock clutch will last long on a tc making 240+...do some research and ask some of the hi power turbo tc guys.
PS. STOCK-u got the draxas exhaust? I'd like to see/hear that!

Sheesh the stage 3 clutch is only rated at 300 hp. CLutchmasters goes all the way up to stage 7, and in my opinion up to stage 3 is fine for a daily driver with modifications like a supercharger.

Creativecompacts say its 110% clamping force over stock. about 300 hp (whp)
