Default Computer Chip for the tC

ok so i have i/h/e done to my car and before that at the track i was running like 16's 16.3 or 16.4 something like that and after the mods my best time i ran was a 15.536. now i ran against another tC owner who has i/e/Chipped and he ran i believe a 15.2 or 3 from what i could see the only time we raced eatchother. he claims he his fastest was a 14.8 or 14.9........ my question is anyone thinks that is acurrate and if buying the Unichip($460.91) is a good idea? what kind of gains might i see?

you would see better gains with better driving skills... i ran a 15.7 or 8 bone stock. as it is you probbaly dont see much gains with the I/H/E anyways so yea... and unichip isnt the best piggy back out there, its difficult to find a tuner thats certified to tune unichip and it doesnt control that much, you'd probably see better results with emanage or the FIC but even then it wont be a lot.

get pulleys if you're that **** about gaining all the hp you can n/a....you can also add spray (nitrous) or gut your interior for more time. taking out your interior is the cheapest way to get a better time.

I have, intake header and exhaust, I cant run low low 15's with slicks Id be in the 14's, on a 60 shot im running mid 14's and Id see low 14's high 13's on slicks.

I have the F/ic tuned for nitrous (100 shot) and a zeroed out tune for NA driving so the chip isnt worth it unless you have a reason to need it really.

for a high 14-low 15 second car the normal rule is a 1/10th of a second per 100 pounds lost
