Concept G vs TRD exhaust
Does anyone know how loud the Tanabe Concept G is in relation to the TRD exhaust? I've been looking at the Concept G because volume is a major factor for me and I've heard its pretty quiet. I'm not concerned with the note/rumble/rasp, checked all that already and the Concept G is great, it's just that you can't tell volume from videos.
I've only ever seen I think two tCs around here with aftermarket exhaust and didn't know what they were but both were too loud. But, I saw an RS 5.0 today, first TRD I've heard in person and the volume sounded perfect to me so if the Concept G is somewhere close to the TRD then I'll be sold on it.
Thanks

I love how the concept G sounds over the TRD..honestly the only thing that ever kept me from switching it up is I really don't like the way the tanabe looks..something about it just bugs the crap out of me..otherwise it is definitely a great sounding exhaust.

I have also seen the TRD with a Strup header and that sounded beautiful in my opinion. It was one of the best sounding exhaust done on the TC and with the TRD intake just made it sound even better!

personally i love the concept g... the only thing that prevents me from getting it is that i'm worried about ground clearance... i'd rather play it safe when spending that kinda loot on essentially an asthetic mod... unless you do the entire exhaust system

I have the Concept G and Tein S-Techs and the ground clearance is spot on.

Tanabe is wayyyy better. but if ur seriously looking for sound thats the quietest of all exhausts, than you would have to go with the TRD one. Otherwise the Tanabe imo is the best one out there by far in sound and fitment
