idont remember tourqing them in any specific order, so that may be the problem indeed.

i just took the stock manifold off then put the headers on. imo the stock bolts and studs are crap anyway.

planned on using copper sealant. but will torque from center outward to hopefully seal it correctly. were you guys double checking the torque after you ran it a while? heat does funny things.

Indeed it does. I recommend rechecking the TQ after a week of driving.

Also, the stock studs do kinda suck, and if you feel a need to upgrade, check here:

i did re tighten the bolts every once in a while. i guess i shoulda worked from in out and used some sealant. thanks everyone

Thank you very much Paul for checking this thread out. I'll be sure to order some copper sealant as well as the Dezod studs for when I put my DC header on in a couple weeks, as well as torquing from the middle out,

scored them at the same time. i've searched around but there seems to not be an easy way to tighten down the left/bottom nut to the bolt after replacing the header. not without some bloody knuckles and an all day adventure. any ideas? do they make an open-ended torque wrench?

i think you can remove the alternator and then get to it. i dont remember.
