THAT is the main difference
Aluminum never rusts either. Now an alumuminized coating on an exhast eventually falls off exposing the steel piping causing rust.

It is louder and a lil more raspy but I think it sounds good. If you get the resonator it takes most of the rasp away.

BTW... Was anyone else missing 2 sets of bolts/nuts for install? I mean, it was nice of CC to include an extra gasket, but the 2 nuts to connect the midpipe and "axel-back" section would have been more helpful.
YES!!! No gaskets, no hardware, no clamps...nothing.

Oh well looks like a trip to the auto parts store.

Will have an answer for you tomorrow... based on the image you sent me, clearly looks like you have a damaged box and all the hardware which is wrapped together, fell out...

My S-pipe had hardware and a gasket. It wasn't wrapped so good though so yours probably fell out of the box.

mine had a gasket, 2 bolts, 2 lock washer (useless since it loses its rigidity when it gets hot LOL... but anyways), 4 normal washers, 4 nuts.

everything that was needed... although I did add some gasket paste

i think i am going to pick up the full stainless steel system with a resonater and borla muffler... i am going to pick up that alphaworks header too. i am in NJ and i do not know if i want/need a cat or not... do i need one, is there a hp difference in either option... all this is meant to be an addition to the trd supercharger (i know i know ALREADY!!!). i am kinda not understanding the need for the cat, and if i need one, or it will change the sound. thanks in advance

...sorry for the rapid fire questions

i believe you will need a cat
get a hi-flow and when you get the supercharger (ha... yeah) you won't notice the difference
