Default CreativeCompacts.Com Exhaust Install

On Friday with the install madness, we went ahead and installed (like we wouldn't of!) our Complete Exhaust Kit on the company Scion tC. We chose to do 2.5" Stainless Steel with Flowmaster muffler on the vehicle. We planned on adding a high flow cat, however we had to ship our customers orders before we could add it to ours. So we will be putting that on later this week.... So now we have been able to install the Borla and the Flowmaster kits on a tC and have been able to test them in various configurations, here is a lil buyers help for customers.

1. If you are doing an Aftermarket header, DEFINITELY do the High Flow Cat. Our car is very raspy without the High Flow Cat and combined with the Megan Racing Header.
2. Muffler choice will show no major difference in HP from Borla to Flowmaster, just exhaust tone.

With out kit putting down 12hp, you can definitely feel this modification in your seat. Avg install time is about 30-45 min depending on how good you are with exhaust hangers (rubber ones).

MidPipe Comparison

Axle Back Section

Thanks
James

it would be ideal, WOULDN'T IT?!

is it mandrel bent? although crush bent wouldn't even be that bad for the midpipe as it doen't have many significant bends in it.

The kit is Mandrel Bent and all prices are on our website at CreativeCompacts.Com

At this time we cannot sell the Mid Pipe by itself due to a flange issue with the factory setup

Thanks

We didn't design our kits to work with just our axlebacks... we designed FULL Exhaust Kits to create the power since a stock midpipe and axleback is pretty useless. Do to a flange issue at this time,we have no made a midpipe for Other axlebacks, but have been looking for a resolution.

hmmmmmmmmm HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I have never heard of a stand alone exhaust system that could lay down 12 hp on a NA engine. I had a true duel straight catback MTM exhaust system for my 2.7t twin turbo audi and it gave maybe MAYBE 5-8hp with it chipped and KO4s.....

got dyno?

You can go catless if you put a resonator on the mid pipe. I went catless on my CC exhaust and added a 18" resonator on the mid pipe and it took out the raspiness for the most part.

Keep us updated and let us know when we can buy only the mid-section..

I wonder if a 2.25" system with an aftermarket header would be less raspy.

motozen, there is a dyno available in the power hungry section for the exhaust system and it is making 12whp.. if you can't find it here I know it's also on clubsciontc.com

I second that. Because personally, I have my eyes set on the HKS cat-back.

Hey i live and Florida and emissions dont matter here so do i need the high flow cat??? I dont plan on getting headers so i dont have to worry about it being raspy....but without the high flow cat does it mess up the ecu and cause a light to go on??? Does it make a difference in sound with or without it??

Tell that to the LS1 guys who can make upwards of 15whp off of exhaust alone, not counting lt's, or Honda guys who put exhausts on B20's. I'm not saying that the tC is specifically capable of producing such numbers, but that's a pretty broad statement that you made.

Also, the stock exhaust on the audi must have been pretty good if all you got out of it was 5-8hp
