i going with the DC cause every car i've heard that has the AW sounds really bad unless they have a resonator and stock exhaust.

I doubt the sounds will be much different. You hear more complaints about alphawerk cause more people have it. AW gives a bit more power, DC should be capable of lowering underhood temps better since it's ceramic coated.

I honestly didn't care too much for my DC header. I'm sure i got some power, but lost a LOT of low end torque. ALso, sounded kind loud/raspy/ricy.

IMO the DC headers could use about 1/4 or 1/8 smaller diameter on the runners... little better torque

AW for alittle more power; DC for 10 bucks cheaper

if money is not a problem, MMW is better. supposely you get +26hp/24tq..... MMW and Weapon-r are the same, and weapon-r has a strong reputation.

DC has a strong reputation too.... but they are like a walmart/bestbuy/circuit city brand in a way, except its in autoshops. In other words most performance autoshops sell DC's.

Does anyone have any dyno sheets for the Monster Motorworks header. I am in the process of deciding what header to buy. I have decided on exhaust and intake but need some advice on the header.

My advice: do the intake and exhaust first. drive it for a while. see how u like it. then figure out if you want a header. Its always best to do mods one step at a time so you can actually See/feel the effect of each part by itself.

Plus, i think the headers out for the tc don't compliment the motor's characteristics well. ie. its a torquey motor..the headers focus on making power HI up in the rpm range while sacraficing low and mid range torque. WIthout proper air/fuel and timing adjustments, i think you'll just end up with a vtec spec'd tc.

I know what adding all these parts will do. Please no one rag on me for this but the motors are torquee just like the eclipse motors in the 2nd gens. I added the intake and exhaust on my old eclipse and as soon as I added the header I could tell a helluva difference. But I am really wanting do this swap all in one go, but I may heed my wants and try out your advice.

well for one alot of people are putting 1 bolt on and tighten and the put the other bolt on and tighten instead of putting both on and torquing them evenly. another thing is bolts not torqued correctly. ive already seen people with bolts falling off after a few days of use. and also if you sand down the flange and put a heat resistant sealer or a home made/ or a/m gasket to reduce vibration you will help out in reducing rasp. been doing this for years, its little things like that that you pick up working on a variety of cars like i have.
