Default DG-Spec Centerforce Flywheel

Guys,

Any interest in a DG-Spec race-proven unit? We could do either a low inertia steel wheel or a very lightweight aluminum wheel. We've run both in our racecars over the last few years with tremendous results.

What would be the differences from what is already offered from Centerforce and other mfg?

Centerforce currently will not offer a flywheel to the public, but I'd like to change that based on how fantastic they perform for us. The low-intertia steel wheel is only slightly lighter than stock, but moves the majority of the mass toward the center for faster rotation and better response. Imagine a figure skater spinning with arms tucked into the center of the body. The aluminum is extremely light so the mass isn't all centered to the inside. Aluminum is more expensive.

Other offerings currently for the tC I'm not sure, and Centerforce is the only brand we've tested that sustains road racing abuse.

Which of the two do you prefer to run on the race cars? Sounds pretty interesting so far.

In the cars currently we run the low inertia steel. Steel is more durable, but we also run it due to our World Challenge rule set constraints. One season we ran the aluminum. Beautiful piece. More expensive though. Both would be a totally OE type design that will bolt right up.

Might be good for those in need of a clutch to consider the pair...the wheel with the DG-Spec clutch. It is unique to us, and starts with a strong dual friction component. We've upgraded both the disc and the pressure plate. I'd say it's easily good for 250-300 horsepower. We can offer a DFX version that could support more for people with extreme power.

Welllll, no time soon, BUT DG-Spec is trying hard to team with TRD to offer you the Intercooler that works with the TRD S/C. 100-degree inlet temp drops are achieved with this setup. A necessity for racing.
