Default Did I miss something? (TRD Supercharger)

So I was sesarching through the vendor list on www.newscionparts.com when i happened into the USA TRD section. They seem to already be selling the TRD Supercharger with an advertised price of $2699.00 with a delivery time of 10 weeks. Now i was under the impression this supercharger had not even been released by TRD yet. Did i miss something? Or does this company know the release date and is basically just taking pre-orders knowing that they will have the superchargers in their possession within 10 weeks?

So confused!

Not sure... 10 weeks is around the time given from the latest rumors. Some dealers are taking pre-orders, but there still is no official word as to when it will be released.

Hmm they have the AEM intake as well with a delivery time of 8 weeks for $289.00. It's actually pictured installed in the tC.

$2699 is a great price. if you can install it yourself and maintain the warranty that's a GREAT price. i wonder if they're replacing the injectors or doing any sort of fuel management though (FPR).

I read a number of times that the ECU is being replaced or reflashed. I fully expect the price to be around 2700 for the whole kit (or less if you have a vendor account).

is the trd supercharger even worth that much seeing as how the blitz gives roughly 10% more hp

Oh wow, he tacked an extra 'n' on the word take. Big whoop. It still makes sense.

Well, like I said, I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you can't take anything "without" a grain of salt. The phrase is to "take it WITH a grain of salt." Second, yeah, he added an n to "take" but in front of the misunderstood cliche' the whole sentence makes no sense at all. And not to be nitpicky (I'm not the grammer or punctuation police, I swear) he's missing an apostrophe in "its" and the word possession is spelled wrong (he's missing an S).

Ok- bring on the flamers. I'm sure you'll all crucify me. But doesn't anyone look at that post and just roll their eyes? Seriously- am I the only one?
