no im talking about the black screw next to the long bolt, sorry if my wording is wrong.

anyhow, im going to readjust the damper tomorrow, if it doesnt tame the rattling than im probably gonna uninstall the etd.

oh that one stays, well mine is broken in already and doesn't even rattle at all. i can still hear it abit when stepping on the gas but i think it's off because i took it off for idk what reason and when i put it back on the rattling went away. i might have to tighten mine abit more but just try that, turn the etd like 2-3 times to where it becomes longer and give it another shot. also do you have the race or street bushings in?

street bushings, ill have to adjust it a bit. Ill do it tomorrow morning before I head to work. if its still annoying, ill just uninstall it. I just wanted a small mod to make it more fun to drive for DD. but it may just be a bit too aggressive of a change for me.

i have the race bushing and it was bad before but now it's really quiet, try giving it like a week to break it in and loosen up the rod abit. you just have to mess around with it until you get it to be quieter and then it won't be that bad.

I extended the the damper by a few mm, and now the chatter outside the car is almost gone,
still has rattling in the cabin though

alright ill give it a week or so and see how it goes.

on a side note when I first got my etd there was a marking on the cylinder I didnt think nothing of it at first as car parts are always dirty even new..,until this morning when I took out the damper, its a marking from a previous installation. from the engine cover rubbing against it.

I ordered from NST, im wondering if they sent me a used etd or the cylinders just get recycled into other etds?
