The ETD is pre-loaded with the RED bushings. Open it up and use the black ones if you plan to do mostly city driving.
Thanks again everyone, good luck and have fun with all your projects!!!

I just ordered my DME engine torque damper from NST. I hope it doesn't vibrate too much. My friend said that it might help to use dynamat to help with the vibration, but I don't know?

I installed an engine dampener on my car a while back and absolutely love it. I take my car to the dragstrip occasionally and I couldn't believe the difference the ETD made. I used to wheel hop like mad off the line, but had none whatsoever with the ETD installed.
Another big improvement I noticed was more precise shifting. Because the engine doesn't move as much, my shifts were much smoother and went into gear better. It is worth the little bit of vibration noise I get. Even the fiance got used to it pretty quick and is thinking about getting one for her xA.
If you want your car to shift quick and smooth, be sure to get the torque dampener along with stainless steel bushings from NST. Those two things will do a great deal in improving the feel of shifts as well as keeping wheel hop down and allowing you "feel" the engine revs better.

Yeah, I have the metal bushings in mine and those by themself made a difference in the shifting. I am still waiting for my ETD, but I guess thats what I get for waiting so late to x-mas to order it. lol
