On my 5th exhaust now.

I had the tsudo N1 catback which I loved until I got my Weapon R header.

Went from deep, clean, awesome to disgusting, loud, raspy.

Ended up having to get custom piping and exhaust.

Then went to widebody and changed it out for a duel exhaust which was too loud IMO but clean(except at certain rpms).

I took my widebody off and wanted my exhaust to be quieter and not so ricey looking. Ended up going with Flomaster with 1 resonator. Sounded good but raspy and a little too loud. Added another resonator which helped alot.

I switched it out to a Magnaflow XL two resonators with rolled steel angle cut tip.(looks similar to stock tip) I love it.

What I have found with the Weapon R header is that anything you throw on there if not done specifically for your car by a professional is going to sound like a nasty disgusting raspy obnoxious ebay exhaust on a POS civic. I have noticed this on friends cars who run different headers like DC also except they arent usually AS loud.

DC header sure as hell produces rasp. lol.

FWIW I have a Tsudo 4-2-1 header and the only time I get rasp is when the engine is cold (like on start up) and then its only at like the 2700rpm to 4000rpm. I'm still running the stock exhaust with no extra resonators and I love it...had it for about 25k miles and its been great.

I was running MMW Headers, Invidia s pipe, and a ZPI catback with two resonators. Beautiful deep sound, no pos rasp. My friend had a Tsudo 4-2-1 as well and had similar experience to the person above.

I've heard the DC Header as well, and it was awful

In my sig below. Dezod exhaust, DME header, Megan S-pipe, AR resonator, high flow 2.5" cat

It's not completely gone but its definitely not bad by any means. Under normal driving it sounds good

Yeah it's actually a lot quieter compared to other cars with headers. You should post a video on the outside doing some revs.

you must be extremely confused. TRD never made a header for the tC.

bumping this thread up from almost 4 months ago doesn't help your position either.
i suggest you do a little more research.

whatever buddy. i must just be imagining the fact that he has a full trd exhaust system with header on his car and has trd etched onto the header doesnt make it trd than my bad. also so what if i replied 4 months later, you should check to see when the post was first written and ppl still replied to it even then.

I have dc sports header, Megan spipe and midpipe and the Tanabe medallion touring axleback...rasp is at a minimal and it sounds on par with what the Trd axleback sounds like alone...if not a little more quiet.

Dont know if Tc's have a "scuba" like we do or not, but if you do a header and an axle back, while leaving the cat/resonator in, It will sound great under accel :D

Check out my ebay review thread if you don't believe me, I have videos of it up.
