E350 transmission

E350 transmission
I'm looking for information on the E350 transmission. I'm an MR2 owner (and an Alltrac currently, too) and I'm trying to figure out if the E350 five-speed manual transmission found in the tC and Camry will bolt up to a 2GR-FE from a Camry or Avalon.
Currently a few people have bolted an E153 transmission from an MR2 turbo up to the 2GR successfully. But if you've ever carried an old E-series around you know that they are gigantic monsters of transaxles. Information on the E350 is scarce, but I have heard from a couple of sources that they are at least 40 lbs lighter than the E153, which would put it around 75-90 lbs, similar to a C52 or C56 from an early MR2, corolla, MR2 spyder, paseo, etc etc.
I have a 2009 tC and I have been fairly impressed with the 2AZ-FE. The tranny is not incredibly smooth but the clutch is great, and I have been considering the possibility of a 2AZ swap into my MR2. (wouldn't be incredibly fast, but the motor has streetable torque everywhere and I think it would be a great match for the car, which is a 1985, not the 90s model) That got me thinking, if the E350 will bolt up to a 2AZ, it might also bolt up to a 2GR even though they were never sold together.
If I can't find a answer on the weight I might have to convince the wife to let me buy a lightweight flywheel for the tC so I can have an excuse to drop the tranny and weigh it :D
If you have ANY other information on the E350 transaxle (photos, build threads, examples of how much power it can put down), perhaps on another board, please point me in the right direction. I searched and there were only a dozen or so threads that even mentioned it.
Thanks!
Ben

Have there been E350 failures at 300, 400, 500 whp? If it will handle 300whp reliably I'd say that's plenty.

If the 2GR FE has the same bolt pattern as the 1/3MZ FE [which is the same as the 3SGTE] it will be different than the 2AZ FE.
I've checked that one and it's totally different, a E151F isn't even close [which is a E153 + T case].
Does that make any sense?
