Default EBAY mangaflow TRUBENDS highflow cat back picts/vids

this is the cheapest kit i could find.. did have some minor fitment issues but nothing the saw-zall couldnt take care of.. i think it sounds nice.. when cold, it does rasp, but after a min of driving, its gone.. was like $230 for the axel-back and an extra $75 for the HF cat and piping.

hahahaha, i have never seen anyone drive over their camera when doing a sound clip, not just once, but twice, loved it!!!!

as for the kit, take a pic of how far out the tip sticks, looks like its way out there, kinda hard to tell, all and all, not bad for the money!

word.. it was fun.. its a pos cam so i dont care if i kill it.. the tip dosent stick out that much.. i think less than a half inch past the lip kit.. if any..

as for price, im a cheap bastard.. its all coated and now painted.. so im not worried about rust.. and i like how it sounds.. if i wanted performance, id buy an differnt car.. LOL

Wow. prices went down. This exhaust system from trubends has been on my wish list for a long time and still is. It looks awesome. A bit raspy for my taste. But it's still on my list.

almost every cat back will be raspy, once our cars hit vvti thats just how they sound, my hks axle back sounded good til i installed a midpipe, not it has a little rasp, just the nature of the beast

Magyver - it sounds really good - and for that price you can't beat it.

Nice touch on keeping the last half of the exhaust black.

What size piping is that?

Honestly, I'm impressed with the sound.

i checked out trubendz on ebay, and is it just me or is their pricing interesting!? Same kit ranges from 255 - 460 for the magnaflow, or 205 to 460 for borla... same kits strange range to me.

havent checked em out since i got mine, but make sure you read well.. the piping material has like 3 options, the better the pipe the higher the price.. obviously.. and its just a borla muffler.. not a borla kit.. so for just mufflers, is not all that differnt... if the whole thing was made by borla, totaly differnt story...

so in reality its just different piping. And that could equate the minor differences between each muffler. Which makes soo much more. I was thinking that they put different prices for the same product to get some more income with some.

So magyver, I'm gonna install tonight mine tonight. I got an axleback- any tips on hanging properly? I don't have a sawzall and hope I don't need it ;-) Do the existing oem hooks pop out of the stock rubber hangers pretty easy? I hope no major obstacles or I'm taking the bus to work tomorrow!

NO bus for me! Install is done- only took about an hour and a half. It rattles on the loop hook in the center of the bottom back end. I'll put on aftermarket hanger to set it solid against that piece tomorrow and all should be good. Sounds pretty nice. Not loud at all, a little growl, no rasp. Sounds especially good around 3500 in second. Hangers line up well- I think its just heavier than stock. Also tip does stick out more (total about 2 and a half inches) than stock if that matters to anyone.
