EBAY mangaflow TRUBENDS highflow cat back picts/vids

yeah, that bend under the rear cross member could be better.. but i used a pipe clamp and a spring stabilizer rubber chunk and wedged it inbetween.. all is good..
i love it when i put on the axelback only.. i just wanted it a tad bit louder..

mine dosent stick out that far.. its not recessed, but i think its perfect.. i also have a lip though..
i believe those rubber things are called coil stabilizers.. but not 100% sure.. i needed em on my s-10 that i had a 5/4 drop in.. but they have come in useful i'll tell ya what.. i just cut em in half.. they are pretty beefy.. got over 4K on it and it hasnet moved or melted away.. ends the rattle instantly..

thnx for pics magyver. Interesting mine appears to go around the other side of the tow hook than yours! I fixed my rattle with a clamp. I will prolly go back in and add some insulation since I don't wanna transfer too much heat from pipe to tow hook.

So i got dirty again last night and went back under :-) To recap I have a borla axle back- I think magyver said his is the magnaflow catback, so that could account for some differences. I was wrong when I said mine went around the hook on the other side- but my bend seems to be further back (rear of the the undercarriage) so I used a strip of exhaust insulation and wrapped it around using a pipe clamp and put it on the longitudinal part of pipe (running from joint to bend)- wedged it between tow hook and exhaust - viola! problem fixed. My previous solution (inferior to magyver's) took care of the rattle but created a creeking noise, and I was concerned that the exhaust didn't really "hang" when pipe clamped to tow hook. This could prolly cause stress on the joints. Thanks for the pics and ideas magyver. BTW I made trubendz aware fo the comments and they are looking into it. HANSome- look for pics I'll take over weekend and post.

well heres are the pics from the exhaust...as you can see that the tip is wayy too out. I may have to cut the tip and and weld it back on...and also do you guys think I should weld the exhaust together because I only have the clamps on.

i didnt weld mine, nor did i use the clamps.. i couldnt get the clamps tight enough to stop the pipes from spinning inside.. but they were fairly tight pipes.. so i just took a 1/4" self tapping screw sand put one screw in each side fo the muffler.. not spinning now and no leaks

magyver- I'm no exhaust expert (obviously) but not using clamps or welds on the joints sounds like a very bad idea to me. You can't necessarily see a leak, but exhaust is toxic, and the job of the system is to get that gas out the back at the farthest point possible. I would go back and slap them clamps on for insurance.

the clamps broke before the pipes stopped spinning.. its all good.. i've been building/piecing exhaust since for the last 12 years.. its all good.. my s-10 stops right under the cab.. its all good.. but thanks for your thoughtfullness..
