Default Exhaust Decision.

I have an 08 tC and am deciding between the megan racing catback system, megan racing axleback sytem, and Tsudo n1 catback. I dont want it to be to loud or raspy, but really roar when i get into higher RPM's. I dont really wanna go over 400$ on an exhaust, what do you guys think would be the best

megan racing drfit spec, it comes with a down pipe so it will sound nice and not be too loud.

i had/have it (swappped the canister) and it sounded excellent, very deep, and clean sounding. and looks 10x better than megan, plus it wont turn yellow like megan.

the concept g is a very good axleback, but WAY overpriced

i've heard that the tanabe concept G is really quiet but a friend has the megan and before he put headers and s-pipe, it sounded nice.

i paid 170 i think for my tsudo. only problem i ran into was the resonator hitting a bolt on the heat shield, but i just had the bolt melted

Have you considered Magnaflow. It's pretty pricy directly off their site, but you can find it other places for like $200 less.

I have concidered magnaflow but the only ones i found were PRICEY. I dont have alot of extra money laying around.

suchaclean, is the Tsudo direct bolt on or is welding/bending required?

the tsudo n1 isn't actually bad at all. the muffler comes out straight instead of angled and it's quieter than the megan drift exhaust. and to answer your last post it's bolt-on exhaust, no exhaust that is sold for the tc needs to be welded or rebent.

thanks. Its my first real performance mod and i wanna make a good decision. for 200$ compared to the others being closer to400$ i was a little worried. You've heard nothing but good things about it though?

an exhaust is an exhaust that is gonna make noise somehow and i really haven't heard alot of negative things about besides people saying save your money for the HKS but that one is too big and hangs really low so it tends to scrape depending on the roads in your area. plus for that price you get the mid-pipe as well.

not even close. an exhaust will always be an exhaust. all the systems mentioned have 2.5"piping. the only difference in a resonator and the actual canister
