fallacy???
so let me get this right....the chemical compound of nitrous oxide being injected into your motor is not considered -forced induction-
the title of this area says its for turbo and sc's only..maybe i jus read it wrong im sorry
how is it that forced induction is-air being implemented into the combustion chamber by unatural means other than vacuum pressure......
nitrous is held in a tank and is often jus chillin at 1600 psi...(enough pressure to puncture your skin)....this is pretty unatural....
-awaiting those wonderful intellectual comments now

Technically you are right but... we get enough posts in this area with just turbo/sc. The bottom line is that some people wanted to keep the nitrous posts out of this area so there fore it happened.

The bottle sitting at that psi doesn't create that psi in the cylinders. If that were the case, your engine would blow up into a billion bits.
The pressure in the bottle is used to make the nitrous flow through the tubing and into the injection ports.
It's not really forced induction....

Many do consider it forced induction, as do I.
Both achieve the goal of injecting more oxygen into the combustion chamber, one by compressing air and another by "enriching" air. Both methods achieve a huge power increase.
You're forcing oxygen in. That's why many view it as forced induction. Due to the required levels of tuning, I believe it belongs in this section.
