Default Flywheel resurfacing

About a year ago i installed a new clutch kit along with resurfacing the flywheel. 2 weeks ago the clutch failed. upon removal i found the the release bearing clip broke, also that the disc itself had 2 cracks on it.Do i need to have the flywheel resurfaced again when i install the new clutch kit?

Yes. You always want to make sure you have a fresh clean surface for the clutch. Otherwise you'll be kicking yourself big time when the clutch starts slipping way before it should.
