Well I'm throwing the stock intake back on and hoping warranty covers it. I got 100 k warranty so hopefully they will fix it?

i'm pretty sure warranty won't cover hydrolock....but if you have full coverage insurance they should cover it

GL with that. Move to a city thats not stupid. Who makes a city without water drainage.

I am sure they have some sort of drainage.. but water just builds up in some areas no matter what you do.

Warranty does not cover hydrolock. While it sucks that it happened to you, it was driver error that caused it by driving off into deep water, so warranty doesnt cover that.

Actually they have sort of a drainage system which leads to a creek. However it gets full fast. Too fast to drain all the water from the city. I was watchin it on the news today. Because we don't see enough rain in a year they are no need to spend money on a better system.. Anyway I don't live in this town I was just with my girlfriend shopping.. Looks like I paid a big price eh? So that's my only option? Buying a new engine? Could I rebuild it?
