theres more than 1 person who first started with a S/C then switched to turbo.

seems like 4 throttle bodies + 4 mafs = 1 confussed ECU.

I can't remember the name, but there was someone on here a while back that was going to do this.... and then scrapped the project.

I think MotorFX had done that to a XA but never could get it to run right.

because? you're not going to get the benefits of a supercharger / turbocharger, you're not compressing air in, granted you'll have increased intake velocity but you'll have more heat soak better throttle response. basically its a show mod, you shouldn't expect much more than stock

ben sorry to burst your bubble but its not a show mod at all.... its actually fully functional and you actually do see gains from ITBs... average gains are from 15-25 whp .... i wouldnt have tried it if it was going to make me slower....lol...

BTW im still trying in my head how to make it work.. the DBW is the only issue..

really seems like a needlessly compliated investment and it would only be worthwhile if you were doing a complete n/a build up on the tc engine with high compression tuning.

yes, it can be done, but what do you get in the end? how much power do you think you would make?

i don't think that right. sorry to disagree but a lot of kid get great gain on other car esp if you use deferent cams. also if you wanted to run a a turbo on ITB its possible, guys use special manifolds that go to each throttle body

haha idk how much power it would make thats why i was asking. and it not something i would do for a every day driver but i was interested to see if someone has done it. its more of a track car thing. not to realistic for every day.

how would you have a turbo or supercharger with ITB? you would have to have a common intake manifold going back to the intake side of the cylinders from the compressor.

from what i've just looked up, it is all about getting the maximum amount of power out of high compression n/a engines.

they are usually for n/a set ups but i've seen some vw's with ITB and a custom manifold feeding to each TB

not with s/c but with turbos i think ppl are basing the post off what SOME turbo manifolds used on the inside which is a velocity stack shrouded by the rest of the manifold... similar to ITBs only the velocity stacks are out in the open and not covered.
