Has anyone noticed Arco gas sucks? My gas story
I don't get the best mpg
But, I swear Arco gas sucks! I normally fill up with Chevron and run it all the way out, I get about 335 miles to the tank.
And that's running it all the way down till everyone starts saying "oh crap we better get some gas"
I filled up and it took 13.3 gallons. Anyways to save money i filled up with Arco and my gas mileage per tank dropped almost 100 miles!
I didn't drive any different at all and i only got 249 to the tank
Wth gives? anyone else have problems with watered down gas or am i going crazy?

No, your not going crazy, Arco gas does sucks.
One of my dad's friends owns an Arco gas station, and he has personally told me that there's water in all of there octanes.
I have never filled up Arco gas because of this lol
Best choices- Chevron, Shell, or Mobil

Yes, Arco has been proven that their gas has water in them. i go to my girlfriend's gas station (Spaceage) they use chevron gas =D... and the best part... it's a penny a gallon! =D

The additives in the "Top Tier" fuels are nice every 8 or 10 tanks, but they give you no advantages if used every fill-up. I find that the key to a good tank of gas is freshness-- how long it's been sitting in the underground tanks, soaking up all of the goop that's built up down there since the tanks were installed.
My first choice: Costco Gas. The attendant told me while I was filling up one day, that the trucks of 87 come at minimum two times a day, sometimes three. Now that's fresh gas.

LOL. Same here! I used to go to Arco (cheap!) but after I switched to 76 and/or Chevron, I noticed an improvement on mileage and how the engine runs. Needless to say, I never went back to Arco ....despite the rising gas price nowadays

Actually it is better to get gas from a station that doesn't have to fill its tanks often. More tankers the better the chance from the crud in the tanks getting to the pump and into your fuel filter.
