I got my manifold jet coated. They say that it should bring the temps down by about 800 to 1000 degres keep in mind that this is a turbo set up I also wraped the down pipe and the s pipe to hold in heat. I have not yet gotten my manifold back yet so I dont know how much cooler it will keep it but I will post back with you whene I get it all installed to let you know what a difrence it makes.

Header wrap is very well known to cause stress cracks from overheating. The only things I would wrap are things such as audio wires that wouldn't hold up too well to long-term engine bay temperatures.

exactly we did this in our project civic hatch that runs 10 n/a motor wrapped the header and hoses and after a few runs and months we figured we were losing hp and we took the wrap off and the header had a stress crack on the weld...so we did do that anymore...lol...i just wrapped everything around my header..u want those babys to breath...lol
