Default headers and 02 sensor?

do the dc sports or megan racing headers for the tc come with the hole to screw in the 02 sensor? and if not then is there a kit or somethin u can get to do like an 02 sensor delete?

I'm very sure that they do...and in the unlikely event that they didn't it would be a 5 dollar fitting and a 20 dollar weld.

^No that would be because they eliminate the catalytic converter in the header making them less emissions compliant

and why would you want to get rid of the o2 sensor fitting...that would be very pointless; your car would probably run in open loop all the time, and without engine managent you would not benefit from that at all...

and also if the headers don't come with the hole is it possible to drill one and tap it so u can screw in the o2 sensor

Dude... every header made for the tC has a hole for the o2 sensor.

The way people try and avoid the CEL is by using the anitfouler method. This pulls the sensor out of the exhaust stream in order to get readings that are acceptable to the ecu. Search around for it; anitfouler. Simply taking out the sensor will result in a constant CEL.

It's never a for sure thing. There are a few methods out there; some work, some don't. I think Prototype XB has the best setup since he never threw a CEL while he had his Dezod kit in. Good luck!

add another anti-fouler on it and try to get it out further away from the spipe until you don't get a CEL.

BTW... your putting the antifoulers on the spipe o2 sensor right? (not the o2 sensor on the header) Just making sure.

Yup thats why your still having the CEL. The anti-foulers should be on the s-pipe (downpipe). Take the antifoulers off your header.

The s-pipe is the one right after the header.... the pipe where the header bolts onto the bottom. There is another O2 sensor there. Pictured here:

You'd have to get under your car to see it.
