Congrats on a job poorly done Mr. Goodwrench...I told you to take the stud out with a 4 or 5mm socket.
You can lead a horse to water... And one word...OVERSPRAY! But I'm sure it looks tight, YO!
And the pre-'07 heat shields aren't any harder than the '07's...but if it makes you feel better knowing that perhaps you might just be smarter than a piece of pressed metal then just keep on believing that.
Hopefully you stick around though...you're amusing in an ant under a magnifying glass kind of way Sparky! And your Internet tough-guy routine is top notch...

Dude, get the f*ck off this thread, he asked for help and you have done pretty much everything but that. Damn, that's what this forum is for. Don't have any input then STFU. F*ckin immature people on this thing. Mods lock pls

Actually if you go back I told him three times how to take the thing off...reading comprehension apparently isn't your friend either. If you go back and read S-L-O-W-L-Y you'll see he was spoonfed everything he needed (I can only think of so many ways to say "take the stud out")...so perhaps you'd like to close your meat holster now.

maturity You "spoonfed" him and he did it his way. Last time I check the motto was "what moves you" -Scion So let him customize his way and STFU

Maybe the new motto should be, "Dudes who shouldn't be allowed to use tools." Seems appropriate...but if it was a mere stud that delivered defeat in this case I can see how some serious slack should be cut here.
I did notice none of your posts provided any help whatsoever...oh, except use lots of garbage bags. Since all of your contributions in this particular thread were so earth-shatteringly informative perhaps it's you that should STFU.

I feel the presence of a Honda lover amongst us. Oh FYI, I said nothing of garbages bags. I doubt your mere 44 posts qualifies you as a Scion enthuastist, go play with your riced out civic

The rest of the beaters in the garage are a built '01 Lightning, a SC'ed H2, a 911 and the daily beater GS300. But I don't know anything about cars in general...and a real "enthusiast," to quote you, would never do a job half-assed but I'm sure that's not the case with you Garbage Bag.
But you're right...you actually used the term "plastic."
