you don't have to worry about burning through anything. Many cars run without cats and with resonators. You should just place the resonator along the straight section of the midpipe to reduce some of the heat that would reach it. Regardless, I never even heard of that happening before, and I bet they are just playing with you.

well the guy juss gave me an example... ES motorsport deals with race cars everyday.. they juss told me about the others cars in teh dyno... so id thought that it would happen to me... as for resonator.. i guess that IS my only choice... im not expecting it to completely quiet my exhaust.. I just expect to quiet some rasp or noise.. sighhh ohh wellz...

btw.. before i end things here... N e one recommend me a good resonator? Or should i just go to a muffler shop and get whatever the biggest one that can fit in my car?
