Heat shield material? Maybe exhaust wrap?

that looks nasty having it on you bumper. try adjusting the hangers for your exhaust to make it hang lower maybe

I tried the hanger issue more than three times, the only way I can get rid of the burning is to adjust the exhaust so that it hits the side of the run channel, then I get a rattle wich is even worse.

I'm just buying a new exhaust............................

it almost appears to be some sort of carbon kevlar, or maybe a textured steel?

ive already adjusted my exhaust as much as possible. Its centered pretty well but the heat is still making my paint bubble a bit. This material or whatever it is should fix my problem. Just gotta figure out what it is.

Plus, it will be on the bottom part of the bumper so you wont be able to see it.

P.s. its not exhaust wrap, i already tried auto zone, pep boys and kragen. Its probably something i can find in a hardware store but i gotta find the name for it...?

The answer is here...

www.jscspeed.com

Its called Thermotec. Its a heat insulating material. Go to that website, click at the top on Universal Products, and its the 4th item down the left column. Call them, ask for Chris, and tell him Joe from Peruzzi sent you.... good luck!

Go Precision Muffler

The fit is perfect and I have had no burning issues.
